Suction Press Roll Brief Introduction
The function of the vacuum chamber is only to suck the air in the shell holes. The thicker the roll shell, the more air volume is sucked. Therefore, the use of high-strength metal to make a vacuum suction press roll with a thin roll shell is beneficial to improve the efficiency of press dehydration. The vacuum pressure roller shell is covered with rubber with a thickness of 30-40mm.
The advantage of encapsulation is to make the pressure distribution uniform, reduce the abrasion of the felt, and increase the pressure of the press line. Production practice shows that the axial and circumferential center distance of the holes on the vacuum pressure roller is smaller, and the number of holes is larger, which can significantly improve the dehydration effect of the vacuum pressure roller, thereby effectively eliminating the embossing phenomenon and extending the service life of the felt.
The vacuum suction press roll shell is covered with rubber with a thickness of 30 ~ 40mm. The advantage of the coating is that the pressure is evenly distributed, the wear of the blanket is reduced, and the pressure of the press line is increased.
The production practice shows that smaller axial and circumferential center distance and more holes on the vacuum roller can significantly improve the dewatering effect of the vacuum roller, effectively eliminate the embossed phenomenon and prolong the service life of the felt.
The hole diameter of the vacuum suction press should be properly selected to ensure that the roller has enough water removal, and to take into account that the opening of the hole will affect the strength of the roller and leave "shadow marks" on the paper. The diameter of the eye hole of the vacuum roller is generally about 4mm.
